The Bahamas Fly Free Companion Special has been extended to all new bookings through 9/15/10 (previous deadline was 8/22). Travel must be completed by 12/22/10. This special promotion can be applied to Sandals Royal Bahamian and Sandals Emerald Bay. Note that the free companion air is an upfront discount but only covers the base airfare (taxes are not included in the promotion).

Sandals sister brand resort Beaches Boscobel, located in Ocho Rios Jamaica, will be closing for 3 months effective 9/1/10. Sandals will be performing facelift renovations and structure refurbishing. Currently booked families with children are being relocated to another Beaches Resort. Booked couples have the option to switch over to a similar room category in Sandals Grande Ocho Rios.

This is a question we are asked all the time. The quick answer is it depends. Each Sandals resort can be the best for different reasons and everybody has different interests and tastes. One person can have several favorite Sandals Resorts for different reasons.

Enjoying the scenery from above
The St Lucia canopy tram and zip line is really one of the best highlights when visiting St Lucia. The staff are all friendly and take their jobs very seriously. Of course, the scenery is amazing!
Take a look at the Rain Forest Trams Website. They also conduct activities in other destinations as well such as Jamaica and Costa Rica. If interested in booking, you can book directly through the tour company or through Sandals.

Here are some pictures of the Greg Norman Golf Course located at Sandals Emerald Bay in the Exumas Bahamas. This is a terrific championship course located just steps from the resort accommodations.

Sandals Dunn’s River which was one of the most popular Jamaica Sandals Resorts closed its doors on 6/30/10. Sandals claims non-agreement in property lease terms as the reason.
There is some speculation that Sandals will reopen the resort at some point once the issue is resolved, but this appears to be doubtful. More probable, the resort will open under a new company and brand.
